ARMADALE GARDEN

Faulkner and Chapman designed a contemporary, low maintenance courtyard garden focusing around outdoor entertaining. Natural elements such as stone were incorporated into the design to soften the hard elements such as paving and retaining walls. Waterfeatures are incorporated into the design to provide a focal point for the garden and to provide the pleasant trickling sound of water. A side courtyard has a glazed pot with a rendered backdrop and stained bamboo screen and fencing. The front garden was designed to be a low maintenance garden setting for the house. Retaining walls and front fence sit the house on the landscape and small trees help to soften the facade.
