MT ELIZA GARDEN GARDEN & WATERFEATURE
Faulkner and Chapman designed a large multilevel natural waterfeature over a sloping block. The block was terraced over three levels using retaining walls made of local stone. Large watertanks were placed under the lawn on each terrace. Mudstone was used to create a series of waterfalls next to paths and bridges that lead down into the garden. Informal, drought tolerant planting was used to set off the waterfeature.
